Dear Sir Kevin,

I sent this letter below by e-mail to the Committee for Standards in Public Life.  One of its clerical staff told me that Ms Hudson, Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, should deal with it.  Mr Prawer in that office says that Ms Hudson cannot deal with this and suggested I approach your committee.  As a retired doctor, surgeon and senior citizen, I do not take easily to the game of 'pass the parcel'.  I regard this as a most important matter and will be sticking with it.

Thank you for informing me you had received my letter dated 9thApril 2013 via your card sent on 20th May.  The printed messages were your thanks for my communication and that the contents had been noted.  I am glad we have established direct contact.  However, from my standpoint,  I see that we are no further forward.

Thank you for your emails of 13 May and following letter that we received on 16 May 2012.
 
The role of the GMC is to license doctors to practise in the UK and maintain the register of qualified medical practitioners. If a doctor’s fitness to practise is found to be impaired we can take action through our procedures to either restrict or remove their registration.
